Recent Updates
The minimum wage in New York City and select counties, including Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester, is set to rise to $16.00 per hour on January 1, 2024, while the rest of the state will see an increase to $15.00 per hour. Additionally, recent changes to the Labor Law stipulate incremental raises of $0.50 each year on January 1, 2025, and January 1, 2026. To comply with Labor Law § 652(2), the Commissioner has submitted proposed regulations for amending the existing wage orders.
